1. What Emolyn is

Emolyn is an emotion-aware AI companion. Its invitation-only beta is for adults aged 18 or over, operated for you by the organisation providing this deployment (the "operator"). Emolyn supports emotional understanding and communication: exploring possible tone, finding clearer words and rehearsing conversations. It is an AI, not a person, therapist, or diagnostic service, and it can make mistakes: always check important facts, and never treat its replies as professional advice.

2. Who can use Emolyn

• You must be 18 or older to join the beta waitlist.
• Confirm that you are 18 or over when you join the waitlist. This is a declaration, not verified age assurance.
• Joining the waitlist does not create an account, guarantee access or commit you to a purchase.

3. The rules

Emolyn follows a fixed code of conduct, and so do its users. Don't attempt to use Emolyn to create violent, hateful, bullying, sexual, or illegal content, to harass anyone, or to cheat in assessed work. The same content standards apply to every account, whatever your age. Accounts used to break these rules can be suspended by the operator.

4. Safety

Emolyn is not a crisis or counselling service. If you are unsafe, contact local emergency services or someone you trust. Do not rely on this coming-soon site for urgent help.

5. Your privacy

This coming-soon site handles signup details as follows:

• What we store: Your email address, adult confirmation and permission to receive beta emails. Your name and area of interest are optional.
• How personalisation develops: This coming-soon site does not build a personalisation profile or store conversation memories.
• Your email address, adult confirmation and permission to receive beta emails are sent through Netlify Forms to the Emolyn team. Your name and area of interest are optional. We use these details to measure interest and contact you about beta availability. Joining does not create an account or guarantee a beta place.
• Where it lives: Signup details are processed by Netlify Forms and delivered to the Emolyn team through the form dashboard and email notifications.
• Who can see it: Netlify processes submissions. The Emolyn team can review signup records and email notifications.
• How Emolyn reflects emotion: The homepage face demo uses preset messages and scripted facial reactions. It does not accept visitor messages.
• Cookies: Google Analytics measures page visits and completed signup events only if you accept optional analytics. The signup event does not include your name, email address or other form field values. You can accept, reject or withdraw permission using Cookie settings. Your choice is stored in this browser. There is no application sign-in session on this site.

6. Deleting your data

To leave the waitlist or request removal of your signup details, reply to a beta email from the Emolyn team. Signup records remain in Netlify Forms and email notifications until removed; there is no automatic deletion schedule. Removing a submission from Netlify does not remove its email notification copies.

7. Changes

We will update this page when this site’s data handling changes. The beta application will have its own terms before you use it.
